Initial Water Treatment for New Onground and Inground pools
Day 1
1. As soon as your water is circulating and your filter is clean, suspend a double layered leg of panty hose filled with (S/M Pool : 500gm , L/XL Pool : 1 Kg.) Stabilizer from the ladder and leave it there
until dissolved.
2. At least 2 hours after Step 1, add (S/M Pool : 250gm , L/XL Pool : 500 gm.) of HTH Sock-it Unstabilized Granular Chlorine to the pool water.
Day2
3. Begin daily chlorination by:
(a) If you have an Automatic Chlorinator fill it with 5-7
stabilized chlorine pucks. Set the control valve to medium.
(b) If you have a Floating Chlorinator fill it with stabilized chlorine pucks or mini
tabs. Set the control vents to medium.
(c) If you are using stabilized chlorine granules add a daily dosage of 60gm (1/4) cup.
48 hours after Step 3 take a sample of water to Pioneer Family Pools for testing (500 ml.)
Never add Water To Chemical - add Chemical to Water.
Pool chemicals must be handled with care. Always read and follow all label directions.
