Treatment for Algae Infested Pools

Day 1. Brush the walls and bottom of the pool vigorously. Add (S/M Pool : 10 Lt. , L/XL Pool : 20 Lt.) liquid chlorine or (S/M Pool : 3 cups. , L/XL Pool : 6 cups.) Granular Unstabilized Chlorine.

Day 2. Morning: Mix (S/M Pool : 500 ml. , L/XL Pool : 1 Lt.) of Concentrated Algaecide with a pail of water and pour around entire perimeter of the pool. Evening: Broadcast (S/M Pool : 2 cups, L/XL Pool : 4 cups) of Oxidizer over the surface of the pool water.

Day 3. Morning: Mix (S/M Pool : 500 ml., L/XL Pool : 1 Lt.) of Concentrated Clarifier with a pail of water and pour around the entire perimeter of the pool. Now turn your pump off for approximately 8-12 hours and let the clarifier do its job.

Day 4. You are now ready to vacuum. Set the filter the waste or drain position. After vacuuming return dial to the filter postion and add (S/M Pool : 5 Lt. , L/XL Pool : 10 Lt.) of Liquid Chlorine or (S/M Pool : 2 cups. , L/XL Pool : 4 cups.) Unstabilized Granular Chlorine to the pool water.

In order to avoid algae growth, shock your pool regularly and maintain your alkalinity and pH levels. If we are having a real hot spell, you should keep your chlorine level above the norm of 3-4 ppm. The warmer the water the more chance of algae growth.
